A low-maintenance, cheesy, creamy Buldak ramen recipe, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The recipe provides a bare minimum base, suggesting additions like bacon, fish cakes, or kimchi for more flavor.
1. In a small pot, boil water. Cook the egg with the shell on for 6 minutes, then transfer it to an iced bowl of water to stop cooking.
2. In another small pot, boil the Samyang ramen for 4 minutes, then drain the water.
3. While still on medium-high heat, add the heavy cream (use 1/4 cup if you prefer it spicier). Add in the Samyang seasoning packets. Cook until the sauce thickens. Add mozzarella on top and leave the lid on to melt.
4. Top the ramen with chopped scallions and cilantro. Lightly tap or roll to crack the soft-boiled egg and peel it gently. Cut open the egg in the ramen and enjoy!
